He began his career in the early 90’s hosting Hip hop, Dancehall, Reggae, DnB and Jungle parties in Lisbon, Portugal. He quickly achieved success and recognition before reluctantly leaving the sun, sand, sea and Sagres lifestyle and moving to London, England in order to further his career and sharpen his skills in the birthplace of the modern Dance MC. From this new base in the vast metropolis, he sharpened his skills, absorbed the influences of the city’s prolific underground movement and immersed himself in the City’s prolific Uk Garage, DnB, Dubstep, house and Hip hop parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whilst a resident in the UK, Knowledje’s talent as a host was quickly recognized and it was not long before he packed his bags and hit the road for regular tours on the European circuit, traveling to cities such as Valencia, Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Berlin, Cologne, Zurich, Lisbon, Porto and the Algarve as well as the length and breadth of the British Isles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His frantic summer tour schedule gave Knowledje the opportunity to work with and host sets for legendary names such as Dj Hype, Zed Bias, Fabio and Grooverider, Mj Cole, Dj Marc (4 hero), Giles Peterson, Aphrodite and Roni size, just a small selection of the Dj Talent that has worked with this prolific Mc\/host. His success on these tours and his talent for networking also brought him the opportunity to open for true worldwide music legends such as Public Enemy, Moby, Tricky, Bjork, the Mad Professor, Black Uhuro, Ice T, Thievery Corporation amongst other internationally recognized artists and bands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s a brave new decade and this Lisboner and adopted Londoner is now an Amsterdam based MC and is well on his way to conquering the Dutch dance scene. From humble beginnings 3 years ago hosting underground Drum and Bass parties in the Netherlands, he has quickly reached prominence and collaborates regularly with the likes of Girls Love Djs (Dexter), the Missing links, Rubywax and has hosted clubs the length and breadth of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his short stay in the Dam, Knowledje has been resident Mc for Bed at the Hotel Arena and a frequent guest Mc for party\u2019s such as Wicked Jazz Sounds, Sneakerz, Nope is Dope, Sexy Mother Fucker, Omerta..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The list goes on. Furthermore, his now battered and weary passport boasts international venues and a CV that spans the length and breadth of the world, from Greece to Turkey, the Cape Verde Islands, Norway, Suriname, Spain, Belgium, Thailand, Morocco and many, MANY MORE. Right now, Knowledje hosted in the hottest clubs in Holland; Harderplaza, Thalia Lounge, Sugar Factory,etc..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is also regularly rolling with key members of the Dutch music scene such as Sidney Samson, Tony Cha Cha, Benny Rodriguez, Sunnery James & Rian Marciano, D-Rashid, Gregor Salto, Erik E, Chucky, Lucky Charmes., Alvaro<\/p>\n\n\n\n
